A lot of time has passed since the last update, too much to be honest, but finally Bluetooth File Transfer and Bluetooth Network Scanner applications are both updated. They are now ready for .NET Framework 4.0, whereas previous versions of 2007 were both compiled with .NET Framework 2.0. These apps are both solid, just a small amount of bugs fixed, and a lot of work to align the new IDE with such old libs. But finally the porting is complete, now we can still add more features hoping to keep the framework version as low as possible.
Hoping to have given you some good news, we'll talk to you in the next update 👍

Back in 2008, Bluetooth File Transfer (Windows) was released compiled with .NET Framework 2.0, in order to (hopefully) make it as future-proof as possible. Unfortunately, this short-sighted choice has led to compatibility issues. Newer releases of the .NET Framework broke retro compatibility with older versions, and in the latest Windows operating systems, .NET Framework 3.5 (and lower) is only available as an optional package, as explained in the FAQ section.
To make matters worse, even after installing .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 10/11, the operating system somehow blocks the automatic license key request (via HTTPS) to our server, preventing you from receiving a free license key seamlessly.
As a temporary solution, you can manually generate a FREE license key in the application page. We are currently working to locate the original source code (currently lost 😢) and release a new version of the app that addresses these compatibility issues.

Once it was called "Dual File Manager" and kicked out from the Android Market due to the high number of keywords in description: our fault, we must admit it. Now it reborn as "Dual File Manager XT": the eXTreme version with enhanced user-interface and features. The advertising has been moved on program settings to make it less intrusive. ADfree version will be released soon on the Android Market, we are working hard on it, be patient and stay tuned. Please, keep in mind that developing professional applications, for a full time job not just on spare time, has a lot of costs so don't destroy the life of developers by using ad-blockers or pirate APKs! Be conscientious...
